The 2020 Subaru Forester Base: Engine repair

For engine work on your 2020 Subaru Forester Base, we arrange a trusted shop; CarmaCars does not do the work. Engine work ranges from a leak to a rebuild; the shop inspects the car and quotes it.

Your car, your notes

Tell the shop the year, the trim and the engine: the 2.5L 4-cylinder. Tell the shop about any warning light or sound you have noticed. The shop may ask for the VIN to order the right parts. The 2.5L 4-cylinder, paired with an automatic (CVT), drives it.

What we arrange

We can deliver a rental to you while your car is at the shop. Send the car's details and what it needs; we take it from there. The shop quotes the job; you approve it before any work.

A car meanwhile

Keep moving with a rental while the shop has your car, by the day at our usual rates. Add a rental to the same request as the repair. Delivery covers the Toronto area, priced by distance in your offer; pickup from us is free.

Before the shop starts

Ask how long the job should take, so you know how long to rent for. Ask whether anything else is close to needing attention, and how soon. Ask the shop to explain the repair in plain words before you agree.

Good habits for your car

Switch to winter tires before the first snow, and back in spring. Have the battery tested before winter if it is more than a few years old. Keep the spare, the jack and the wheel lock key where you can find them.

Over to you

A request is free and gets a reply within one business day.
