Arranging the work for the Forester

Need engine work for your 2020 Subaru Forester Base? We do not do mechanical work, but we arrange it with a trusted shop and keep you driving meanwhile. An engine that runs rough, smokes or overheats needs a look soon.

Details the shop needs

Note the mileage on the odometer when you send the request. The shop may ask for the VIN to order the right parts. Tell the shop the year, the trim and the engine: the 2.5L 4-cylinder. Under the hood: the 2.5L 4-cylinder and all-wheel drive.

The steps

The shop sets the price and the time after seeing the car. Your request goes to a person, who arranges a trusted shop or gives you its name. We can deliver a rental to you while your car is at the shop.

Driving while yours is at the shop

We can have a rental ready the day your car goes in. Pick a car that suits your week from our fleet. The car can come to your door in the Toronto area, or you pick it up at no charge.

A short checklist

Ask whether the quote includes both parts and labour. Ask whether anything else is close to needing attention, and how soon. Ask how the shop takes payment before you pick the car up.

Car care, briefly

Have the cabin air filter changed on the maker's schedule. Clear snow off the whole car, roof included, before you drive. If the car pulls to one side, ask the shop to check the alignment and the tires.

One more step

Ask, and we tell you plainly what we can arrange.

Other trims, places, colours and searches

Request engine repair

Tell us when suits you. A person replies within one business day and arranges it with a trusted shop or recommends one; the shop sets its own price and time.
