A note on Java

Java is about 1,639 km from Toronto, outside our delivery area. If you need it in Java itself, send a request and we will tell you honestly whether we can help.

Places around Java include Selby, Lowry and Sitka.

Reading the spec sheet

The 2.0L 4-cylinder turbo does the work, through a 7-speed automatic. The turbo gives a small engine the pull of a bigger one when you need it. With front-wheel drive, the weight of the engine sits over the driven wheels, which helps in winter.

It is rated 7.9 L/100 km combined: about 24 litres every 300 km. Expect about $13.83 per 100 km at our price setting.

Who it is for

It suits a weekend away when the train does not reach where you are going. It suits commuters, couples and business trips.

What to expect from the A4

As a compact car, it has a closed trunk that keeps luggage out of sight. The length is 4.76 m. Check the size of a tight parking spot. In plain terms, its 368 litres of luggage space hold about two large suitcases and a few soft bags.

Renting it

We have none on the site right now. Send a request for this exact car and we look for one for your dates. Tell us your dates and we check this car or the closest match. Similar cars are listed below if you need one now.

Requirements

You must be 18 or older and hold a valid Ontario G2 or G licence. Drivers under 26 can rent with a young driver fee each day. Cars marked "no credit card needed" accept a debit card in your name; the others need a credit card.

Third-party liability comes with every rate. For the car itself: your own policy with OPCF 27, a card that covers rentals, or the CarmaCars Protection Plan. We hold the deposit shortly before pickup and release it after the return. Each driver named on the booking signs the rental agreement.

Request, offer, keys

Send a request for the car and dates you have in mind. It is free and it commits you to nothing. We look at the request and send back an offer with the price for your exact dates. Pay when you approve, not a minute before.

Each car's calendar shows the days it is already booked. The longer the booking, the lower the rate a day tends to be. Same-day requests are fine with at least 2 hours of notice, when the car is free.
