Reading the spec sheet

It is powered by the 2.0L 4-cylinder turbo hybrid, with all-wheel drive. As a hybrid, it does best in stop-and-go traffic, where the electric motor does more of the work. With all-wheel drive, it pulls away more surely on slippery roads, though it does not stop any shorter.

It is rated at 8.3 L/100 km combined; 300 km takes about 25 litres. Expect about $12.87 per 100 km at our price setting.

Good uses for the A4

It suits commuters, couples and business trips. It suits a weekend away when the train does not reach where you are going.

What the A4 is like

Its car body is low and settled, with a separate trunk. With 340 litres of luggage space by the EPA's measure, it takes about two large suitcases and a few soft bags.

Rent this car

Put this car and your dates in a request, and we reply with an offer. Similar cars are listed below if you need one now. We have none on the site right now. Send a request for this exact car and we look for one for your dates. Delivery and pickup are both options across the Toronto area.

From your dates to the handover

You begin by requesting a car for your dates; the request is free. An offer follows, with the car we confirm and the full price for your dates. If you approve, you pay and the car is yours for those dates.

You can check any car's calendar before you send a request. One booking runs up to 365 days, and a longer stay renews with a new agreement. Book ahead if you can; 2 hours is the shortest notice we take.

Who qualifies

You need to be 18 or older at pickup, with an Ontario G2 or G licence valid for the whole rental. Age fees stop at 26: younger drivers pay a daily young driver fee. Bring the card you paid with and your original licence to the handover.

Before the keys change hands, one of three options must be in place for the car: OPCF 27, a card benefit, or the CarmaCars Protection Plan. The deposit is taken shortly before pickup, and the balance comes back after the return. The checks are the same for everyone: licence, identity and the agreement.

Make a request

When the dates are set, a request gets you a real price.
