The Corolla and Java

If you are starting from Toronto, rent the car here and drive it to Java. CarmaCars is based in Toronto, about 1,639 km from Java, and does not deliver there.

Around Java you will also find Selby, Lowry and Sitka.

The numbers in plain words

It is powered by the 1.8L 4-cylinder, with front-wheel drive. It runs on regular gas. With front-wheel drive, the weight of the engine sits over the driven wheels, which helps in winter.

The EPA rates it at 7.3 L/100 km combined, so a 300 km weekend uses about 22 litres. At our price setting, it costs about $11.32 to drive 100 km.

When the Corolla makes sense

It suits a work trip where a reliable car matters more than anything else. It suits visitors who want a familiar car for a week in town.

What the Corolla is like

It is a straightforward car to drive, park and live with. Luggage space is rated at 368 litres: about two large suitcases and a few soft bags.

Renting the Corolla from CarmaCars

Tell us your dates and we check this car or the closest match. None in our fleet right now; ask and we look for one for your dates. Meanwhile, 7 similar cars are listed below.

Licence, age and card

Our minimum age is 18; an Ontario G2 or G licence is required. Drivers below 26 pay a fee each day of the rental, and older drivers pay none. Payment is by a card in your name, shown with your licence at pickup.

Choose before pickup how damage to the car is handled: your policy with OPCF 27, your card's rental benefit, or the CarmaCars Protection Plan. Expect a deposit before every rental; its amount is set by the car. Name every driver in your request, and each is checked before pickup.

How it works

Choose a car, set the pickup and return times, and send the request. You pay nothing to ask. Back comes an offer you can read at your own pace, with every charge on it. If it suits you, approve it and pay. Until then, nothing is charged.

Each car shows its own extra kilometre rate, so nothing surprises you later. Weekly pricing starts at 7 days, and a trip never costs more than that rate for a week. At least 2 hours must separate the request from the pickup.

Ready when you are

Not sure which car? Describe the trip in your request and we will suggest one.
