Executive car service: the 2021 Toyota Corolla XLE

For a car with a driver, here is what the 2021 Toyota Corolla XLE brings, and how to request one. Chauffeur bookings are by the hour, two hours minimum; send a request and we reply with the vehicle we can offer and the price.

A note on Java

Java is about 1,639 km from our Toronto location, beyond the area we deliver to. If you need it in Java itself, send a request and we will tell you honestly whether we can help.

If you are close to Java, you may also be near Selby, Lowry and Sitka.

Engine and fuel

The 1.8L 4-cylinder with front-wheel drive is the powertrain to look at. It runs on regular gas. With front-wheel drive, the weight of the engine sits over the driven wheels, which helps in winter.

At 7.3 L/100 km combined, a 300 km drive takes roughly 22 litres of fuel. Per 100 km, plan on roughly $11.32.

Who rents the Corolla

It suits someone whose own car is in the shop for a while. It suits a stretch of weeks between selling one car and buying the next.

The Corolla in everyday use

As a compact car, it has a closed trunk that keeps luggage out of sight. In plain terms, its 368 litres of luggage space hold about two large suitcases and a few soft bags.

Renting it

Ask for your dates, and we reply with what we can offer. This exact car is not in our fleet at the moment; a request asks us to look for one. Meanwhile, 7 similar cars are listed below.

The steps

You start by asking: a car, a start time, an end time. Asking is free. A real person reviews your request and sends an offer with the price spelled out. An offer is valid for 24 hours, and you pay only when you approve it.

The rates you see on a car's page are the rates in your offer. The monthly rate covers a booking of up to 365 days. Last-minute plans are fine with at least 2 hours of notice.

Driver basics

Ontario G2 or G licence holders aged 18 and up can request a car. Under 26, a young driver fee applies for each day of the rental. Cars marked "no credit card needed" accept a debit card in your name; the others need a credit card.

Third-party liability is part of every rate, and damage to the car is handled by OPCF 27, a card benefit or the CarmaCars Protection Plan. The deposit comes about 1 hour before you get the car, not at booking. Each renter is checked the same way, before the booking is confirmed.

Send a request

Tell us your dates and where you want the car, and we will do the rest.
