What the figures tell you

The engine is the 2.0L 4-cylinder turbo hybrid, with all-wheel drive and a 7-speed automatic. It is a hybrid: the battery charges itself as you drive and brake, so there is nothing to plug in. With all-wheel drive, it pulls away more surely on slippery roads, though it does not stop any shorter.

Combined fuel use is 8.3 L/100 km: about 25 litres for 300 km. A 300 km round trip costs roughly $38.61 at our price setting.

Who rents the A4

It suits commuters, couples and business trips. It suits stop-and-go driving and rideshare or delivery work.

What to expect from the A4

A car body like this keeps the weight low, so it feels settled on the highway. Its 340 litre trunk is enough for about two large suitcases and a few soft bags.

Renting it

Your request can name this exact car; the offer confirms what we can give you. We have none on the site right now. Send a request for this exact car and we look for one for your dates. Similar cars are below if you need one sooner. Delivery is priced by distance in your offer, and pickup from us is free.

Getting the car booked

You ask for the car online with your dates, and nothing is charged to send it. You receive an offer with the price, the deposit and what is included. If it suits you, approve it and pay. Until then, nothing is charged.

Rates are set car by car and shown on each car's page. Weekly pricing starts at 7 days, and a trip never costs more than that rate for a week. Leave at least 2 hours between your request and the pickup.

Driver requirements

An Ontario G2 or G licence and an age of 18 or more are the starting point. Drivers under 26 pay a young driver fee for each day, shown on each car's page. Your licence and the card you paid with come with you to the pickup.

Third-party liability is part of every rate, and damage to the car is handled by OPCF 27, a card benefit or the CarmaCars Protection Plan. The deposit comes about 1 hour before you get the car, not at booking. Each renter is checked the same way, before the booking is confirmed.
