Safety certificate: how we help

For a safety certificate on your 2021 Audi A4 Progressiv, we arrange a trusted shop; CarmaCars does not do the work. A used car you buy in Ontario needs a Safety Standards Certificate before it can be plated.

About your A4

Mention the trim and engine in your request; parts differ between them. The shop sets its own price and time after it sees the car. A photo of the dashboard warning light helps the shop prepare. The 2.0L 4-cylinder turbo hybrid is what moves it, with all-wheel drive.

What we arrange

Your request goes to a person, who arranges a trusted shop or gives you its name. We do not set the shop's price or promise a date. You agree the price with the shop before any work starts.

No car? Rent one meanwhile

If the repair runs long, keep the rental longer. Keep moving with a rental while the shop has your car, by the day at our usual rates. Delivery starts at $0 plus distance; collecting the car yourself is free.

Small things that help

Use the grade of fuel your owner's manual calls for. Top up the washer fluid with a winter mix in the cold months. Switch to winter tires before the first snow, and back in spring.

Before the shop starts

Ask whether the shop will check anything related while the car is there. If the car must stay overnight, ask where it will be kept. Ask whether anything else is close to needing attention, and how soon.

Ready when you are

Ask us, and we tell you whether we can arrange it.

Request safety certificate

Tell us when suits you. A person replies within one business day and arranges it with a trusted shop or recommends one; the shop sets its own price and time.
