Rules for renters

Renters must be at least 18 and hold an Ontario G2 or G licence. A daily young driver fee applies to drivers under 26, with no maximum age. We need to see the card and the licence of the person renting.

If you have no auto policy and no card benefit, the CarmaCars Protection Plan is the third option, priced in your offer. We hold the deposit shortly before pickup and release it after the return. Name every driver in your request, and each is checked before pickup.

How a booking comes together

Pick the car and the dates that suit you, then send a request. There is no payment at that point. We confirm the details and send an offer. It lists the rental, any delivery and any add-ons. You decide: approve and pay, or let it go. No charge either way until you approve.

Prices on each car's page are before tax, and the offer adds the tax. Trips of 7 days or more use the weekly rate, and shorter trips never cost more than it. Plan for at least 2 hours between sending the request and picking up the car.
