The A4 and Java

Frankfort, Sharples and Raab Corners are the neighbouring places on our list.

The figures, translated

The 2.0L 4-cylinder turbo hybrid is what moves it, with all-wheel drive. As a hybrid, it does best in stop-and-go traffic, where the electric motor does more of the work. All-wheel drive sends power to all four wheels, which helps on snow and wet roads; good tires still matter most.

Fuel use is rated 8.3 L/100 km combined, so 300 km needs about 25 litres. The fuel for 100 km comes to about $12.87 at our price setting.

A good match for

It suits client visits, weddings and special weekends. Its all-wheel drive suits winter roads and trips to ski country.

The A4 in everyday use

As a compact car, it is easy to drive and park in the city. The EPA lists 340 litres for luggage, roughly about two large suitcases and a few soft bags.

In our fleet

Want a car for specific dates? Put them in the request and we check. This exact car is not in our fleet at the moment; a request asks us to look for one. Similar cars are below if you need one sooner. The handover is in person, at your address or at our location.

What you need to rent

You need to be 18 or older at pickup, with an Ontario G2 or G licence valid for the whole rental. Age fees stop at 26: younger drivers pay a daily young driver fee. The card you pay with must be yours, and you bring it to the handover.

Third-party liability is in the rate; for the car, bring OPCF 27, use your card's benefit, or add the CarmaCars Protection Plan. Each car's deposit is listed on its page, so you know it before you ask. Additional drivers can be added; each one meets the same rules and signs the agreement.

Requesting a car

You begin by requesting a car for your dates; the request is free. You then get an offer from us with the car, the dates and the total before tax. Approve the offer to book the car. That is the moment you pay, not before.

Every car lists its own deposit and the kilometres included each day. One booking runs up to 365 days, and a longer stay renews with a new agreement. Book ahead if you can; 2 hours is the shortest notice we take.
