About the GMC Hi-Cube
Renting the GMC Hi-Cube as a rental car works like any rental with us: a free request, an offer, then the keys. Every car has its own page with its rates and calendar. You choose the car; a person confirms it and sends the price.
The figures, translated
No fuel-use rating is published for this model year, so we leave those figures out.
Space, size and seats
A car body like this keeps the weight low, so it feels settled on the highway.
Is it right for your trip?
It suits a stretch between cars, by the week or the month. It suits a work trip where a reliable car matters more than anything else.
Can you rent one?
Meanwhile, 6 similar cars are listed below. A request for your dates gets you an offer from a person. None in our fleet right now; ask and we look for one for your dates. We hand every car over in person, at your address or at our location.
The rules, briefly
We need every driver to be at least 18, with an Ontario G2 or G licence. Each day of the rental carries a young driver fee if a driver is under 26. Bring a card in your name; a card in someone else's name cannot be used.
Three options cover damage to the car: OPCF 27 on your auto policy, a credit card with rental car benefits, or the CarmaCars Protection Plan. Your deposit is held for the rental and released after the car comes back and is checked. We verify licences and identity for every renter, with no exceptions.
How to book
You begin by requesting a car for your dates; the request is free. We confirm the details and send an offer. It lists the rental, any delivery and any add-ons. You pay when you approve, and only then.
Prices on each car's page are before tax, and the offer adds the tax. Longer trips cost less a day: the weekly rate starts at 7 days. A request can be for today, as long as the pickup is at least 2 hours away.

Can I rent a GMC Hi-Cube in Toronto?
Not from our fleet right now. Send a request for this exact car and we look for one for your dates. Meanwhile 6 similar cars are available below.
How old do I need to be to rent?
18 or older at pickup, with an Ontario G2 or G licence valid for the whole rental. Drivers aged 18 to 20 pay a young driver fee of $35 a day, and 21 to 25 pay $20 a day.
How much is the deposit?
Between $500 and $5,000, depending on the car. It is taken about 1 hour before pickup, never when you book, and the balance is released within 7 business days after you return the car.
What coverage do I need?
Third-party liability is included in the rate. For damage to the car itself, have your own policy (OPCF 27), a credit card with rental car coverage, or add the CarmaCars Protection Plan, priced in your offer by car and driver age. At $2,500 or more we claim on our fleet policy and you pay the $2,500 deductible.
Can the car be delivered?
Yes, anywhere, including Toronto Pearson International Airport and Billy Bishop Toronto City Airport. Delivery starts at $75 plus the distance from our location, priced in your offer. Collecting the car yourself is free.
