Luup alternative: silver 2016 Honda Civic EX in Yameri

Renting the 2016 Honda Civic EX

Luup alternative: the 2016 Honda Civic EX. Here is the car in plain words, and how renting one from CarmaCars works. Every car has its own page with its rates and calendar. You choose the car; a person confirms it and sends the price.

The Civic and Yameri

If you are starting from Toronto, rent the car here and drive it to Yameri. Yameri is about 3,364 km from Toronto, outside our delivery area.

Nearby places include San Francisco el Ocatal, San Francisco el Ocotal and Río Tiltepec.

What the specs mean

Power: the 1.5L 4-cylinder turbo; drive: front-wheel drive. The turbo gives a small engine the pull of a bigger one when you need it. With front-wheel drive, the weight of the engine sits over the driven wheels, which helps in winter.

At 6.7 L/100 km combined, a 300 km drive takes roughly 20 litres of fuel. Every 100 km costs about $10.39 in fuel at our price setting.

Space, size and seats

It is a straightforward car to drive, park and live with. Luggage space is 425 litres, enough for a family's bags for a long weekend.

Is it right for your trip?

It suits anyone who needs a car for a few days, a week or a month without buying one. It suits commuters, couples and business trips.

In our fleet

If you want this one, say so in the request; we confirm before you pay. None in our fleet right now; ask and we look for one for your dates. Meanwhile, 8 similar cars are listed below.

Requesting a car

Send a request for the car and dates you have in mind. It is free and it commits you to nothing. We confirm and price it, and the offer arrives in your account and by email. The car is yours for those dates once you approve and pay the offer.

A car's page shows the deposit and the kilometres included each day. Short trips and long stays use the same request; the rate follows the length. Book ahead if you can; 2 hours is the shortest notice we take.

What to bring

Ontario G2 or G licences are accepted, for drivers 18 and older. Drivers under 26 pay a young driver fee for each day, shown on each car's page. A card in the driver's own name is required at the handover.

You pick how damage to the car is handled before pickup: OPCF 27, a credit card benefit, or the CarmaCars Protection Plan. Expect a deposit before every rental; its amount is set by the car. Every renter goes through the same check of licence and identity before the car is confirmed.

Your move

Send your dates and we will reply with a car and a price.
