The figures, translated

The engine is the 3.2L 6-cylinder, with all-wheel drive and a 9-speed automatic. It runs on regular gas. All-wheel drive helps when pulling away on snow; braking and steering still depend on the tires.

It is rated at 11.4 L/100 km combined, so budget about 34 litres for 300 km. In energy, every 100 km costs about $17.67 at our price setting.

Inside and out

Its SUV body gives a high seating position and an easy load height.

Who it is for

It uses more fuel than most, so it suits shorter trips or people who need its size. It suits a stretch of weeks between selling one car and buying the next.

Can I rent it?

None in our fleet right now; ask and we look for one for your dates. Meanwhile, 6 similar cars are listed below. Put this car and your dates in a request, and we reply with an offer.

Checking your details

From age 18, with an Ontario G2 or G licence, you can send a request. A young driver fee applies each day for drivers under 26. The payment card and the licence must match the driver's name.

Before pickup, choose how damage to the car is handled: your auto policy (OPCF 27), your credit card's rental benefit, or the CarmaCars Protection Plan. A deposit is held for every rental, about 1 hour before you get the car. We verify licences and identity for every renter, with no exceptions.

Booking with CarmaCars

To book, you request the car for your dates. There is no charge to send it and no obligation. We answer with a written offer: the car, the dates, the price and the deposit. An offer is valid for 24 hours, and you pay only when you approve it.

The photos on a car's page are of that car. A booking can be a single day or up to 365 days. Last-minute plans are fine with at least 2 hours of notice.

Still deciding?

Ask for the car, read the offer, approve it if it suits you.
