The 2026 Lucid Gravity: Luup alternative
The 2026 Lucid Gravity is on this page for Luup alternative: here is what to know before you request one. You choose the car; a person confirms it and sends the price. Every car has its own page with its rates and calendar.
What the figures tell you
The electric motor is what moves it, with all-wheel drive. Being electric, it is quiet and quick from a stop, and it charges at home, at work or at public chargers. All-wheel drive helps when pulling away on snow; braking and steering still depend on the tires.
It uses 21.4 kWh per 100 km, so 300 km takes about 64 kWh of charge. On paper it goes 724 km between charges, less in winter. At our price setting, 1,000 km costs about $32.10.
When the Gravity makes sense
It suits a weekend away when the train does not reach where you are going. It suits people who want to try an electric car before buying one.
Inside and out
It offers the space of an SUV with the height that makes loading easy.

The rules, briefly
Every driver must be 18 or older with an Ontario G2 or G licence. Young drivers are welcome: a daily fee applies under 26. The name on the card has to match the name on the licence.
Before pickup, choose how damage to the car is handled: your auto policy (OPCF 27), your credit card's rental benefit, or the CarmaCars Protection Plan. A deposit is held for every rental, about 1 hour before you get the car. Each driver named on the booking signs the rental agreement.
Booking with CarmaCars
Pick the car and the dates that suit you, then send a request. There is no payment at that point. You receive an offer with the price, the deposit and what is included. If it suits you, approve it and pay. Until then, nothing is charged.
Each car shows its own extra kilometre rate, so nothing surprises you later. For longer stays, each booking of up to 365 days renews with a new agreement. Book ahead if you can; 2 hours is the shortest notice we take.
Your move
Ask for the car, read the offer, approve it if it suits you.
