Luup alternative: brown 2020 Subaru Forester Convenience in Java

Luup alternative with this car

For a rental car, the 2020 Subaru Forester Convenience is one of many cars on CarmaCars, each with its own page. Every car has its own page with its rates and calendar. You choose the car; a person confirms it and sends the price.

A note on Java

If you are starting from Toronto, rent the car here and drive it to Java. We have no location in Java; CarmaCars rents from Toronto, about 1,639 km away.

Around Java you will also find Selby, Lowry and Sitka.

Under the hood

The engine is the 2.5L 4-cylinder, with all-wheel drive and an automatic (CVT). It runs on regular gas. With all-wheel drive, it pulls away more surely on slippery roads, though it does not stop any shorter.

At 8.2 L/100 km combined, a 300 km drive takes roughly 25 litres of fuel. In energy, every 100 km costs about $12.71 at our price setting.

Who it is for

It suits someone whose own car is in the shop for a while. It suits a stretch between cars, by the week or the month.

Inside and out

As a compact SUV, it sits higher than a sedan, which makes getting in and loading easier.

Booking with CarmaCars

A booking with us starts as a request that you send without paying. Our reply is an offer that lists the rate, the kilometres included and any delivery fee. You pay only once you approve the offer.

Every car lists its own deposit and the kilometres included each day. A week or more is priced at the weekly rate, from 7 days. A request can be for today, as long as the pickup is at least 2 hours away.

What we check

At pickup you must be 18 or older and carry your original G2 or G licence. If you are under 26, expect a young driver fee each day; there is no upper age limit. At the handover we check your licence and the card in your name.

Every rate includes liability to others. Damage to the car is covered by your choice: OPCF 27, your card's rental benefit, or the CarmaCars Protection Plan. The deposit is taken about 1 hour before pickup, never when you book. Each renter is checked the same way, before the booking is confirmed.
