Luup alternative: the Subaru Outback
This Subaru Outback page is written for a rental car: the car first, then renting it from us. Every car has its own page with its rates and calendar. You choose the car; a person confirms it and sends the price.
Reading the spec sheet
No fuel-use rating is published for this model year, so we leave those figures out.
Space, size and seats
Its SUV body gives a high seating position and an easy load height.
Who it is for
It suits a weekend away when the train does not reach where you are going. It suits a family trip where everyone and everything fits in one car.
Getting one from us
Ask for your dates, and we reply with what we can offer. We have none on the site right now. Send a request for this exact car and we look for one for your dates. Similar cars are listed below if you need one now. Delivery is priced by distance in your offer, and pickup from us is free.
How renting with us works
Choose the car and your times, then send a request. A request does not hold the car, and it costs nothing. An offer follows, with the car we confirm and the full price for your dates. You have 24 hours to approve an offer, and payment comes with your approval.
The calendar on each car's page helps you pick dates that work. From one day to 365, a single booking covers it. Leave at least 2 hours between your request and the pickup.
Rules for renters
Every driver needs an Ontario G2 or G licence and must be 18 or older. Young drivers are welcome: a daily fee applies under 26. A card in your name pays for the rental, and we see it with your licence at pickup.
Before the keys change hands, one of three options must be in place for the car: OPCF 27, a card benefit, or the CarmaCars Protection Plan. Deposits differ by car. Each car's page shows its amount. Every driver's licence and identity are checked before we confirm.
Want a price?
The quickest way to a price is a request with your dates. It costs nothing.

Can I rent a Subaru Outback in Toronto?
Not from our fleet right now. Send a request for this exact car and we look for one for your dates. Meanwhile 6 similar cars are available below.
How old do I need to be to rent?
18 or older at pickup, with an Ontario G2 or G licence valid for the whole rental. Drivers aged 18 to 20 pay a young driver fee of $35 a day, and 21 to 25 pay $20 a day.
How much is the deposit?
Between $500 and $5,000, depending on the car. It is taken about 1 hour before pickup, never when you book, and the balance is released within 7 business days after you return the car.
What coverage do I need?
Third-party liability is included in the rate. For damage to the car itself, have your own policy (OPCF 27), a credit card with rental car coverage, or add the CarmaCars Protection Plan, priced in your offer by car and driver age. At $2,500 or more we claim on our fleet policy and you pay the $2,500 deductible.
Can the car be delivered?
Yes, anywhere, including Toronto Pearson International Airport and Billy Bishop Toronto City Airport. Delivery starts at $75 plus the distance from our location, priced in your offer. Collecting the car yourself is free.
