Your Forester and paint correction

For paint correction on the 2020 Subaru Forester Base, it starts with a short request: what it needs and when. Paint correction is machine polishing that takes out swirls and light scratches; deep scratches may need paint.

What your car means for the work

Its yellow paint is part of the quote: darker colours show swirls and scratches more readily. We note the car's condition with you when it comes in. As a compact SUV, it has more paint, glass and interior than a small car, so the work takes longer.

From request to appointment

Send the year, the trim and what you want done; photos make the price more accurate. Tell us whether you can drop the car off or need it collected. Ask anything about the work in the request.

Aftercare

Keep a soft cloth in the car for small marks. If anything about the work looks wrong after you collect the car, tell us.

A few things first

Bring the keys you use every day, and the wheel lock key if the car has one. Point out anything you want us to pay special attention to. Tell us about any marks or damage already on the car, so we note them together.

Timing

We confirm how long the car will be with us when we confirm the price. Weather and curing times can change the schedule for some work.

Pricing, plainly

If you only need part of the work, say so and we quote that part. The same job can take more time on a car with more trim or detail. Photos let us give a closer price before we see the car in person.
