Your Forester and scratch repair

For the 2020 Subaru Forester Base, scratch repair starts with a quote from a person, never a guess. Light scratches can be polished out; deeper ones are filled and repainted.

Your Forester, up close

Its blue paint is part of the quote: darker colours show swirls and scratches more readily. Photos of the car help us quote it accurately. If the car has open recalls, a dealer fixes them; ask about them while the car is off the road.

What happens after you ask

Tell us when the car is free and whether you can drop it off. Send a few photos and the year and trim; that is enough for a first price. We confirm the price and the time with you before any work.

How long you are without it

We call or write when the car is ready, and you collect it or we arrange the handover. Waiting on parts is the most common reason a repair takes longer.

How the price is set

Older paint or heavy wear can mean more preparation before the main work. If you only need part of the work, say so and we quote that part. The size of the car matters: an SUV or a van has more surface than a compact car.

What to bring

Point out anything you want us to pay special attention to. If you need a rental, add it to the request so it is ready when you arrive. Take valuables and personal items out of the car before the work.

Keeping it that way

Ask us when the next visit would make sense for your car. Regular washes in winter help keep road salt from attacking the paint.
