Reading the spec sheet

The powertrain here is the electric motor with all-wheel drive and a 1-speed automatic. It is fully electric: no gas at all, and you return it with the charge it had at pickup. All-wheel drive helps when pulling away on snow; braking and steering still depend on the tires.

Your booking, in three steps

Pick the car and the dates that suit you, then send a request. There is no payment at that point. If the car is free, you get an offer with the full price; if not, we suggest another car. If you approve, you pay and the car is yours for those dates.

The car pages show each car's rates, deposit and kilometres included. Longer trips cost less a day: the weekly rate starts at 7 days. At least 2 hours must separate the request from the pickup.

Who can rent

Drivers need to be 18 or over, holding an Ontario G2 or G licence for the whole rental. The young driver fee covers drivers under 26; older drivers pay no age fee. The card must be in the driver's name, and we check it with the licence in person.

If your own policy has OPCF 27 or your card covers rental cars, use that; otherwise add the CarmaCars Protection Plan. A deposit is held for every rental, about 1 hour before you get the car. Additional drivers can be added; each one meets the same rules and signs the agreement.
