Booking, step by step

All you send at first is a request with the car and the dates, and it is free. A real person reviews your request and sends an offer with the price spelled out. Say yes to the offer and pay; that is when the booking is made.

Prices on each car's page are before tax, and the offer adds the tax. From 7 days, the weekly rate applies; up to 365 days, a trip never costs more than the monthly rate. The shortest notice we accept before a pickup is 2 hours.

Before pickup

Every driver must be 18 or older with an Ontario G2 or G licence. There is no maximum age. Drivers under 26 pay a young driver fee each day. A card in the driver's own name is required at the handover.

Third-party liability is part of every rate, and damage to the car is handled by OPCF 27, a card benefit or the CarmaCars Protection Plan. The deposit is never taken when you book; it comes about 1 hour before pickup. Each extra driver is checked the same way and signs the rental agreement.
