What the specs mean

Its 2.5L 4-cylinder drives through an automatic (CVT). It runs on regular gas. With all-wheel drive, it pulls away more surely on slippery roads, though it does not stop any shorter.

Rated at 8.2 L/100 km combined, it needs around 25 litres for a 300 km round trip. Driving 300 km costs roughly $38.13 at our price setting.

Room inside

Being a compact SUV, it handles luggage, strollers and sports gear well.

Who rents the Forester

It suits a stretch between cars, by the week or the month. It suits a family trip where everyone and everything fits in one car.

Renting the Forester from CarmaCars

Your request can name this exact car; the offer confirms what we can give you. None in our fleet right now; ask and we look for one for your dates. Similar cars are listed below if you need one now. Delivery to your door is available across the Toronto area.

Your booking, in three steps

A booking with us starts as a request that you send without paying. We confirm and price it, and the offer arrives in your account and by email. Only an approved, paid offer books the car.

The photos on a car's page are of that car. For longer stays, each booking of up to 365 days renews with a new agreement. Same-day requests are fine with at least 2 hours of notice, when the car is free.

What we check

You must be 18 or older and hold a valid Ontario G2 or G licence. Young drivers, under 26, can rent too, with a fee for each day. Your original licence, not a photo, comes with you to the handover.

Every rate includes liability to others. Damage to the car is covered by your choice: OPCF 27, your card's rental benefit, or the CarmaCars Protection Plan. Each car's deposit is listed on its page, so you know it before you ask. If another person will drive, add them; they go through the same check.

Still deciding?

Tell us your dates and where you want the car, and we will do the rest.
