Winter tires for the 2020 Subaru Forester Base

Winter tires for the 2020 Subaru Forester Base: the work is done by a shop we trust, never by CarmaCars. Winter tires are worth fitting before the first snow.

About your Forester

Tell the shop the tire size printed on the sidewall; it differs by trim. All-wheel drive cars are fussy about matching tires; replace them as a set when the shop advises it. Tell the shop the year, the trim and the engine: the 2.5L 4-cylinder. The 2.5L 4-cylinder with all-wheel drive is the powertrain to look at.

What CarmaCars does here

Send a request with the car and what it needs; a person replies within one business day and arranges it with a trusted shop or recommends one. You agree everything with the shop before work begins. Tell us when suits you, and whether the car can be driven.

A car while yours is in the shop

If the repair runs long, keep the rental longer. Rent by the day while the shop has your car. Your offer shows the delivery fee if you want the car brought to you.

Questions to ask the shop

Ask whether the estimate includes tax and shop supplies. Ask whether the quote includes both parts and labour. Ask whether the parts are new, rebuilt or used.

Small things that help

Note the mileage when each service is done, so you know when the next is due. Keep the fuel tank above a quarter in winter. Top up the washer fluid with a winter mix in the cold months.
