Engine and fuel

The powertrain to know here is the 2.0L 4-cylinder turbo hybrid, with all-wheel drive. It is a hybrid: the battery charges itself as you drive and brake, so there is nothing to plug in. All-wheel drive sends power to all four wheels, which helps on snow and wet roads; good tires still matter most.

The EPA rates it at 8.3 L/100 km combined, so a 300 km weekend uses about 25 litres. Every 100 km costs about $12.87 in fuel at our price setting.

What to expect from the A4

As a compact car, it has a closed trunk that keeps luggage out of sight. Luggage space is rated at 340 litres: about two large suitcases and a few soft bags.

Who it is for

It suits a work trip where a reliable car matters more than anything else. It suits client visits, weddings and special weekends.

Rent this car

There is no exact match in our fleet today. Request it and we search for one, or take a similar car. Want a car for specific dates? Put them in the request and we check. Similar cars are listed below if you need one now. We meet you with the car at the time we confirm, at your address or ours.

What to have ready

At pickup you must be 18 or older and carry your original G2 or G licence. Under 26, a young driver fee applies for each day of the rental. Your licence and the card you paid with come with you to the pickup.

For damage to the car itself, have your own policy (OPCF 27), a credit card with rental car coverage, or add the CarmaCars Protection Plan. There is a deposit for each rental, taken shortly before pickup rather than at booking. Before confirming, we verify the licence and identity of each driver.

Requesting a car

A request is free and takes a few minutes: the car, your dates, and pickup or delivery. A staff member reads the request and sends the offer. We reply within 2 hours. You pay when you approve, and only then.

Each car page lists what is included and what costs extra. For longer stays, each booking of up to 365 days renews with a new agreement. At least 2 hours must separate the request from the pickup.

Your move
