What the specs mean

Under the hood: the 2.0L 4-cylinder turbo hybrid and all-wheel drive. As a hybrid, it does best in stop-and-go traffic, where the electric motor does more of the work. With all-wheel drive, it pulls away more surely on slippery roads, though it does not stop any shorter.

Expect about 25 litres for every 300 km, going by its 8.3 L/100 km combined rating. Every 100 km costs about $12.87 in fuel at our price setting.

Who it is for

It suits a stretch of weeks between selling one car and buying the next. It suits a family trip where everyone and everything fits in one car.

How big it is

As a compact car, it has a closed trunk that keeps luggage out of sight. At 340 litres, the trunk fits about two large suitcases and a few soft bags.

Can I rent it?

If you want this one, say so in the request; we confirm before you pay. Meanwhile, 6 similar cars are listed below. None in our fleet right now; ask and we look for one for your dates. The car can come to your door in the Toronto area, or you pick it up at no charge.

Who can rent

Ontario G2 or G licences are accepted, for drivers 18 and older. We accept young drivers; those under 26 pay a daily fee. At the handover we check your licence and the card in your name.

The CarmaCars Protection Plan is one of three options for damage to the car; the others are OPCF 27 on your policy or a card with rental car benefits. Expect a deposit before every rental; its amount is set by the car. Licence and identity checks happen before the booking is confirmed.

Your request, our offer, your keys

Choose the car and your times, then send a request. A request does not hold the car, and it costs nothing. We confirm the details and send an offer. It lists the rental, any delivery and any add-ons. Payment happens only after you accept the offer.

Every car has its own daily, weekend, weekly and monthly rate. Short trips and long stays use the same request; the rate follows the length. Requests need at least 2 hours of notice before the pickup time.
