Car Diagnostics in Basingstoke

Car Diagnostics near Basingstoke

CarmaCars arranges a diagnostic check for drivers in Basingstoke through trusted shops, and rents you a car meanwhile. In short: A diagnostic scan when a warning light is on or something feels wrong, by a trusted shop we arrange, not by CarmaCars. A steady check engine light needs a check soon; a flashing one means pull over safely and get help.

From request to repair

The shop quotes the work itself; we do not add to its price. We tell you plainly when we do not know a shop for the job. A person reads every request and replies with the next step. The repair is between you and the shop; the rental is with us.

No car? Rent one meanwhile

Keep moving with a rental while your car is at the shop, by the day at our usual rates. The rental is booked with us, separate from the shop's bill. Prefer to collect it? Pickup at our Toronto location is free.

What to ask

Ask whether the estimate includes tax and shop supplies. Ask the shop to call you before doing anything not on the estimate. If the car must stay overnight, ask where it will be kept. Ask when the car will be ready and how the shop will tell you.

Small things that help

Keep the spare, the jack and the wheel lock key where you can find them. Use the grade of fuel your owner's manual calls for. Look at the tire tread before long trips.

John C. Munro Hamilton International Airport is the nearest airport, roughly 26 km away. Winters here bring snow, and winter tires are an add-on on the cars that offer them.
