Towing in Basingstoke

Towing for Basingstoke

CarmaCars does not do this work itself. For a tow in Basingstoke, we arrange it with a trusted shop or connect you with one. What this is: A tow to a shop or to your home, by a towing company we arrange, not by CarmaCars. If you are in danger or blocking traffic, call 911 first. Once you are safe, send a request with where the car is and where it should go.

How the arrangement works

The repair is between you and the shop; the rental is with us. Send a request with the car and what it needs. A person replies and arranges it with a trusted shop or recommends one. We do not set the shop's price or promise a date; the shop does, after it sees the car. We can suggest a shop that suits the job and your location.

Stay on the road

The rental is priced like any other: by the day, the week or the month. If the repair runs long, keep the rental longer. Self pickup at our Toronto location has no fee.

Good habits for your car

Keep the fuel tank above a quarter in winter. Listen for new noises and mention them to the shop with as much detail as you can. Top up the washer fluid with a winter mix in the cold months.

Before the shop starts

If you want to see the old parts, ask for them back. Ask whether the shop needs your keys, the wheel lock key or the spare. Ask for a written estimate before any work starts. Ask how the shop takes payment before you pick the car up.
