Car Inspection in Floyds Knobs, IN

Car Inspection for Floyds Knobs

We arrange an inspection through shops in the Toronto area. We have no location in Floyds Knobs. In short: A mechanical inspection, for example before you buy a used car, by a trusted shop we arrange, not by CarmaCars. An inspection before you buy a used car can save you from an expensive surprise.

Who does what

If you already have a shop you trust, we can still rent you a car meanwhile. You deal with the shop for the repair itself, and with us for the rental. You approve the shop's quote before any work begins. The repair is between you and the shop; the rental is with us.

Small things that help

Have the cabin air filter changed on the maker's schedule. Listen for new noises and mention them to the shop with as much detail as you can. Keep the spare, the jack and the wheel lock key where you can find them.

A short checklist

Ask whether the quote includes both parts and labour. Ask whether anything else is close to needing attention, and how soon. Ask the shop to call you before doing anything not on the estimate. Keep the invoice; it is part of the car's service history.
