Emissions Test in Berkeley, IL

Emissions Test: how we help

We do not do mechanical work, and we work in the Toronto area, far from Berkeley. In short: An emissions test or emissions repair where your province or state requires one, by a licensed shop we arrange, not by CarmaCars. Rules on emissions testing differ by province and state.

What we arrange

Give us the make, model and year, and a phone number for the shop to reach you. Your request reaches a person, not a machine. The shop quotes the work itself; we do not add to its price. The repair is between you and the shop; the rental is with us.

Good habits for your car

Switch to winter tires before the first snow, and back in spring. Clear snow off the whole car, roof included, before you drive. Top up the washer fluid with a winter mix in the cold months.

Talking to the shop

Ask how the shop will contact you if it finds something unexpected. Ask the shop to explain the repair in plain words before you agree. Ask whether the shop needs your keys, the wheel lock key or the spare. Keep the invoice; it is part of the car's service history.

What CarmaCars covers

Plainly: we do not have a location in Berkeley. CarmaCars is a Toronto company. Berkeley is about 734 km from our location, and our delivery area is about 250 km.

We know shops around Toronto best; for Berkeley, we say plainly what we can do. For a breakdown in Berkeley, a local service will reach you faster than we can. A request about Berkeley gets an honest answer from a person. Our prices are in Canadian dollars, with tax added in the offer.
