Emissions Test in Edwin, CA

Emissions Test near Edwin

We do not do mechanical work, and we work in the Toronto area, far from Edwin. What this is: An emissions test or emissions repair where your province or state requires one, by a licensed shop we arrange, not by CarmaCars. Rules on emissions testing differ by province and state.

Who does what

You deal with the shop for the repair itself, and with us for the rental. If you already have a shop you trust, we can still rent you a car meanwhile. Tell us what you notice: the noise, the light on the dash, or the job you want done. Let us know where the car is and whether it is safe to drive.

Before the shop starts

Ask how the shop will contact you if it finds something unexpected. Ask if the shop needs the car for a full day or only a few hours. Ask whether the shop will check anything related while the car is there. Ask whether the estimate includes tax and shop supplies.

Car care, briefly

Wash the underside of the car in winter to clear road salt. Check the tire pressure once a month, when the tires are cold. Keep the spare, the jack and the wheel lock key where you can find them.
