Engine Repair in Edwin, CA

Engine Repair: how we help

If you need engine work in Edwin: CarmaCars does not do this work itself, and our network is around Toronto. The job: Engine repair, from a leak to a rebuild, by a trusted shop we arrange, not by CarmaCars. An engine that runs rough, smokes or overheats needs a look soon.

Our part and the shop's part

You deal with the shop for the repair itself, and with us for the rental. We keep you posted until the shop has the car booked in. Tell us what you notice: the noise, the light on the dash, or the job you want done. Tell us when suits you and whether the car can be driven.

Car care, briefly

Keep an emergency kit in the trunk in winter. Keep a record of every service; it helps the shop and adds value when you sell. Listen for new noises and mention them to the shop with as much detail as you can.

Before the shop starts

Ask whether the estimate includes tax and shop supplies. Keep the invoice; it is part of the car's service history. Ask whether the parts are new, rebuilt or used. If a warning light was the reason, ask what the code was and what fixed it.
