Emissions Test in Roberta, NS

Arranging the work in Roberta

We do not do mechanical work, and we work in the Toronto area, far from Roberta. The job: An emissions test or emissions repair where your province or state requires one, by a licensed shop we arrange, not by CarmaCars. Rules on emissions testing differ by province and state.

How we help

We do not set the shop's price or promise a date; the shop does, after it sees the car. We pass your details to a trusted shop or give you its name, as you prefer. If you already have a shop you trust, we can still rent you a car meanwhile. Let us know where the car is and whether it is safe to drive.

Good habits for your car

Switch to winter tires before the first snow, and back in spring. Keep an emergency kit in the trunk in winter. Replace wiper blades when they streak; it matters in rain and snow.

Questions to ask the shop

Ask whether the quote includes both parts and labour. Keep the invoice; it is part of the car's service history. Ask the shop to call you before doing anything not on the estimate. Ask how long the job should take, so you know how long to rent for.
