Mechanic in Ruby, MI

Mechanic near Ruby

Mechanic in Ruby: CarmaCars does not do this work itself and works only in the Toronto area. Repairs and maintenance by a mechanic at a trusted shop we arrange, not by CarmaCars. Tell us what the car is doing, and we find a shop suited to the job.

How the arrangement works

If you already have a shop you trust, we can still rent you a car meanwhile. We do not set the shop's price or promise a date; the shop does, after it sees the car. Let us know where the car is and whether it is safe to drive. Tell us what you notice: the noise, the light on the dash, or the job you want done.

Between shop visits

Keep an emergency kit in the trunk in winter. Wash the underside of the car in winter to clear road salt. Keep the fuel tank above a quarter in winter.

What to ask

Keep the invoice; it is part of the car's service history. Ask how the shop takes payment before you pick the car up. Ask whether the shop needs your keys, the wheel lock key or the spare. Ask if the shop needs the car for a full day or only a few hours.
