Oil Change in Ruby, MI

Oil Change near Ruby

We do not do mechanical work, and we work in the Toronto area, far from Ruby. Plainly: An oil and filter change, done by a trusted shop we arrange, not by CarmaCars. Engine oil and its filter are changed on the schedule in your owner's manual, by distance or by time.

What we arrange

We keep you posted until the shop has the car booked in. We tell you plainly when we do not know a shop for the job. You approve the shop's quote before any work begins. We do not set the shop's price or promise a date; the shop does, after it sees the car.

Before the shop starts

Ask how the shop takes payment before you pick the car up. Ask whether the shop will check anything related while the car is there. Ask whether the parts are new, rebuilt or used. If the car must stay overnight, ask where it will be kept.

Small things that help

Have the battery tested before winter if it is more than a few years old. Look at the tire tread before long trips. Wash the underside of the car in winter to clear road salt.

Before you plan around us

Straight answer: there is no CarmaCars location in Ruby. We rent from Toronto. We deliver within about 250 km of Toronto. Ruby, about 281 km away, is beyond that.

Planning to bring the car to Toronto? Tell us when, and we arrange the shop. We know shops around Toronto best; for Ruby, we say plainly what we can do. We would rather tell you no than overpromise, so ask about Ruby if you like. Every price here is in Canadian dollars.
