Mechanic in Ruby, SC

Mechanic near Ruby

CarmaCars works in the Toronto area, about 1,005 km from Ruby, and does not do this work itself. What this is: Repairs and maintenance by a mechanic at a trusted shop we arrange, not by CarmaCars. Regular maintenance keeps small problems from turning into large ones.

Who does what

The shop quotes the work itself; we do not add to its price. Your request reaches a person, not a machine. The repair is between you and the shop; the rental is with us. We keep you posted until the shop has the car booked in.

Good habits for your car

Check that all lights work every few weeks. Look at the tire tread before long trips. If the car pulls to one side, ask the shop to check the alignment and the tires.

What to ask

Ask if the shop needs the car for a full day or only a few hours. Ask the shop to explain the repair in plain words before you agree. Ask whether the parts are new, rebuilt or used. Keep the invoice; it is part of the car's service history.

Where we are

We have one location, in Toronto, and none in Ruby. Ruby is about 1,005 km from our location in Toronto in a straight line, beyond the 250 km we deliver to.

If we do not know a shop in Ruby, we say so rather than guess. If the car can come to the Toronto area, we can arrange a trusted shop there. We would rather tell you no than overpromise, so ask about Ruby if you like. Our prices are in Canadian dollars, with tax added in the offer.
