Keep moving with a rental while your car is at the shop, by the day at our usual rates. Rent by the day or the week, and stop when your car is back. Or pick it up from us; that costs nothing.
Car care, briefly
If the car pulls to one side, ask the shop to check the alignment and the tires. Check that all lights work every few weeks. Switch to winter tires before the first snow, and back in spring.
What to ask
Ask the shop to call you before doing anything not on the estimate. Ask the shop to explain the repair in plain words before you agree. Ask for the work to be listed line by line on the invoice. Ask whether the parts are new, rebuilt or used.
