Buying a car in Pendleton County

A Safety Standards Certificate is needed in Ontario to register a used car you buy. For a used car, ask for the vehicle's service records and look up its recall history by the VIN. Read the contract before you sign, and ask about every fee you do not understand. Check open recalls with Transport Canada or the maker, using the VIN.
Before your next car arrives
Use a rental to try a different kind of car before you commit to one. You can switch to a different car at the end of a booking, which helps if you are comparing. If the car you want is weeks away, rent one month at a time and stop when it arrives.
