Buying a car in Freestone

Shopping for a car in Freestone? CarmaCars is not a dealer, a lender or a leasing company. We rent cars. We do not check credit for loans or lend money; renting needs a licence, an identity check and a card. We are not a lender and do not arrange loans. A monthly rental can bridge the time while you arrange one with your bank.

Try it for a week first

A rental lets you judge fuel use for yourself, on your own routes. Many buyers rent the car they are considering for a weekend before they visit a dealer. Try the car on a highway drive, a grocery run and a tight parking spot before you sign.

Questions to ask

Make sure every warning light goes out after the car starts. Ask for a test drive on the highway as well as in town. Look at real fuel use for the model, not only the advertised figure. Confirm the ownership and that no money is still owed on the car.

Between cars

A rental can carry you through the paperwork of a private sale. Sold your car already? Rent by the week while you shop for the next one. If the car you want is weeks away, rent one month at a time and stop when it arrives.
