A car for Freestone

Courtesy Car in Freestone: CarmaCars is a Toronto company, so here is what we can and cannot do. A car while yours is off the road, rented by the day or the week. After a collision, your insurer may pay when your adjuster approves the rental, and we can bill them directly. Rates on this page start at $50 a day.

Toronto based

Plainly: we do not have a location in Freestone. CarmaCars is a Toronto company. Measured in a straight line, Freestone is about 3,665 km from our location in Toronto; we deliver within about 250 km.

Visiting Toronto from Freestone? We can meet you with a car when you arrive. Driving out of Ontario is possible only with our written consent, given before the trip. Tell us what you are planning in Freestone, and we will say what we can and cannot do. Prices here are in Canadian dollars, not US dollars.

What makes this simple

Your car is off the road; you are not. We bring a car to you and collect it when yours is back. Tell us the claim number and the adjuster in your request if the rental is part of a claim. A request is free and commits you to nothing. The request is free, so you can ask without committing.

Common reasons to rent

Drivers who want to try a different kind of car for a week. Locals who do not keep a car in the city but need one now and then.

How it works

Booking is by request, never instant. You send the car and the dates, and a person at CarmaCars reviews it. A person checks the request and sends you an offer with the full price. The car is yours for those dates once you approve and pay the offer.

The rates you see on a car's page are the rates in your offer. Need it longer than 365 days? Renew with a new agreement when the booking ends. At least 2 hours must separate the request from the pickup.

Licence, age and card

We need every driver to be at least 18, with an Ontario G2 or G licence. There is no upper age limit, and drivers under 26 pay a fee for each day. Payment is by a card in your name, shown with your licence at pickup.

Three options cover damage to the car: OPCF 27 on your auto policy, a credit card with rental car benefits, or the CarmaCars Protection Plan. There is a deposit for each rental, taken shortly before pickup rather than at booking. Everyone who will drive signs the agreement after the licence check.
