Where we are

Everything CarmaCars does starts from Toronto, and we have no presence in Freestone. Our deliveries stop at about 80 km from Toronto; Freestone is roughly 3,657 km away.

For Freestone itself, look for a local rental company; for the Toronto end of the trip, we can help. Taking a car out of Ontario needs our written consent before the trip, so ask in your request. Common reasons to rent

People whose plans changed and need a car on short notice. People with family in town who need a second car for a while.

Why people choose us

If the claim is not approved, the car's usual rate applies, shown on its page. Tell us the claim number and the adjuster in your request if the rental is part of a claim. One small team handles your request from start to finish. There is no app to install: everything works in your browser.

How it works

To get started, send a request for the car and dates. You are not charged for it. We answer with a written offer: the car, the dates, the price and the deposit. When you approve the offer and pay, the car is booked for you.

You can see every car's calendar and rates before you send anything. Longer trips cost less a day: the weekly rate starts at 7 days. Allow 2 hours or more between your request and the pickup time.

Renting: the basics

Ontario G2 or G licences are accepted, for drivers 18 and older. Drivers under 26 pay a young driver fee for each day, shown on each car's page. The card you pay with must be yours, and you bring it to the handover.

Every rate includes liability to others. Damage to the car is covered by your choice: OPCF 27, your card's rental benefit, or the CarmaCars Protection Plan. Deposits differ by car. Each car's page shows its amount. We check your licence and identity before we confirm, the same way for every renter.
