Auto Loans in Northwest Berkeley, Berkeley

Auto Loans for Northwest Berkeley

CarmaCars does not sell cars or arrange loans; we rent cars, which helps when you are deciding. We are not a lender and do not arrange loans. A monthly rental can bridge the time while you arrange one with your bank. If credit is the obstacle, a monthly rental is one way to have a car while you sort it out; renting is not a loan, so there is no credit check.

Try it for a week first

Bring the car seat, the hockey bag or the dog, and see if it all fits. Take the car home, load it with your things, park it where you park, and then decide. Testing the car for a week shows how it handles your parking, your passengers and your bags.

What to check before you buy

Check open recalls with Transport Canada or the maker, using the VIN. Compare the total cost, not only the monthly payment: interest, fees and insurance add up. Check the date on the tires and the condition of the brakes. Ask whether the car has been in an accident and how it was repaired.

Bridging the gap

There is no long contract, so a rental fits around any purchase date. Sold your car already? Rent by the week while you shop for the next one. A monthly rental keeps life moving while your financing is sorted out elsewhere.
