Auto Loans in West Berkeley, Berkeley

Buying a car in West Berkeley

Shopping for a car in West Berkeley? CarmaCars is not a dealer, a lender or a leasing company. We rent cars. We do not check credit for loans or lend money; renting needs a licence, an identity check and a card. We are not a lender and do not arrange loans. A monthly rental can bridge the time while you arrange one with your bank.

Why rent first

Rent for a weekend to answer the big question: is this the right car? A week of normal life with the car is the best test drive there is. A few days with the car answers whether the seats, the space and the fuel use suit you.

Buying smart in Ontario

Measure your parking spot or garage before you fall for a bigger car. Make sure every warning light goes out after the car starts. Ask how many owners the car has had and how it was used. Compare the total cost, not only the monthly payment: interest, fees and insurance add up.

Bridging the gap

Sold your car already? Rent by the week while you shop for the next one. Weekly and monthly rates make a rental a sensible bridge between cars. You can switch to a different car at the end of a booking, which helps if you are comparing.
