Shopping for a car in Kickapoo

Shopping for a car in Kickapoo? CarmaCars is not a dealer, a lender or a leasing company. We rent cars. A rental of the same model for a week shows how it fits your commute, your parking and your family. Tell us the car you are looking for and we will help where we can, and you can rent a similar car first.

Drive it like you own it

Renting the model first is a simple way to avoid buying the wrong car. A week of your own driving tells you more than twenty minutes with a salesperson: the commute, the parking, the fuel. Renting the model you are thinking of buying, for a day or a week, is a real test drive on your own roads.

Checks worth doing

Ask for a test drive on the highway as well as in town. Check open recalls with Transport Canada or the maker, using the VIN. Ask whether the car has been in an accident and how it was repaired. Check the tires and brakes: replacing them adds to the real price.

Before your next car arrives

You can switch to a different car at the end of a booking, which helps if you are comparing. There is no long contract: each booking runs up to 365 days and can be renewed. Selling privately can take time; a rental means no rush.

A note on distance

To be clear: CarmaCars rents cars in the Toronto area, not in Kickapoo. Delivery covers about 80 km around Toronto; Kickapoo is about 910 km away.

Our rentals start and end around Toronto; a test week has to begin there. Shopping in Kickapoo? A rental from Toronto only makes sense if your trip starts here. If you want to check something for Kickapoo, send a request; a person replies honestly. Our prices are in Canadian dollars, before tax.
