Trade In: what CarmaCars does

CarmaCars does not sell cars, but before you buy one in Kickapoo, a short rental can answer questions a test drive cannot. Between cars? Rent one by the week or the month while you decide what to do with yours. Selling a car can take weeks; a weekly rental means you do not have to keep it until it sells.

Try it for a week first

You can rent for a week, or up to 365 days, and nothing is charged until we confirm and you approve. A week of your own driving tells you more than twenty minutes with a salesperson: the commute, the parking, the fuel. Renting the model you are thinking of buying, for a day or a week, is a real test drive on your own roads.

Questions to ask

Measure your parking spot or garage before you fall for a bigger car. For a used car, ask for the vehicle's service records and look up its recall history by the VIN. Look at real fuel use for the model, not only the advertised figure. In Ontario, a private seller must give the buyer a Used Vehicle Information Package.

Between cars

A rental means you never have to rush a purchase because you need wheels. Renting while you shop lets you compare cars without pressure. If the purchase falls through, you still have a car to drive.

Our area, and Kickapoo

We are based in Toronto; Kickapoo is not somewhere we have a location. Our deliveries stop at about 80 km from Toronto; Kickapoo is roughly 910 km away.

If you are in the Toronto area before you shop, rent the model from us there. If you move to the Toronto area, renting the car you want to buy is easy. If you still want to ask about Kickapoo, send a request; we would rather say no than overpromise. Prices here are in Canadian dollars, not US dollars.

When you know your dates

Rent it for a week, then decide: send a request with your dates.
