The useful parts

A rental keeps you earning while you shop for your own car or wait for a repair. CarmaCars is not affiliated with any rideshare or delivery platform; we rent the car, the platform sets its own rules. Rates are set per car, so you can choose by budget. You can rent again later with the same account and details.

Who it is for

Anyone whose own car is booked in for service for a few days. Anyone between a car sale and a car purchase.

The rules, briefly

An Ontario G2 or G licence and an age of 18 or more: that is where it starts. Drivers under 26 pay a young driver fee for each day, shown on each car's page. We check that the card and the licence carry the same name.

Every rate includes third-party liability. The car itself needs one of three options: OPCF 27, a card benefit, or the CarmaCars Protection Plan. Deposits are listed car by car, so you can compare before you ask. Additional drivers can be added; each one meets the same rules and signs the agreement.

From your dates to the handover

You start by asking: a car, a start time, an end time. Asking is free. Back comes an offer you can read at your own pace, with every charge on it. You pay only once you approve the offer.

You can check any car's calendar before you send a request. The longer the booking, the lower the rate a day tends to be. Same-day requests are fine with at least 2 hours of notice, when the car is free.
