When it makes sense

People whose car is in the shop, people visiting family, and people trying a model before they buy. Visitors, locals between cars, families on a trip and people who need a second car for a while.

Why this works

One booking runs up to 365 days and renews with a new agreement, and the deposit carries over. A trip of 7 days or more never costs more than the car's monthly rate for up to 365 days. The offer is in writing, so you can check it before you agree. You choose the exact car, not a category with "or similar".

Booking, step by step

Every booking starts as a request: the car, the dates and where you want it. Nothing is charged to send one. If the car is free, you get an offer with the full price; if not, we suggest another car. Say yes to the offer and pay; that is when the booking is made.

The calendar on each car's page helps you pick dates that work. From one day to 365, a single booking covers it. The minimum notice is 2 hours, so an afternoon pickup can be requested in the morning.

What we check

Every driver needs an Ontario G2 or G licence and must be 18 or older. If any driver is under 26, a young driver fee is added for each day. Bring the card you paid with and your original licence to the handover.

The CarmaCars Protection Plan is one of three options for damage to the car; the others are OPCF 27 on your policy or a card with rental car benefits. We take the deposit shortly before pickup and return it after the car comes back. Each renter is checked the same way, before the booking is confirmed.
