Good fits

People with family in town who need a second car for a while. Anyone between a car sale and a car purchase.

Worth knowing

A trip of 7 days or more never costs more than the car's monthly rate for up to 365 days. Each new agreement keeps the same simple terms as the first. Each car has its own page with photos of that car, not a stock image of a category. You see the price before you pay, and a person confirms every booking.

How a booking comes together

Start with a request. Choose the car, the pickup time and the return time, and send it without paying anything. A real person reviews your request and sends an offer with the price spelled out. Nothing is charged until you approve it and pay.

Each car shows its rate for a day, a weekend day, a week and a month. From 7 days, the weekly rate applies; up to 365 days, a trip never costs more than the monthly rate. Pickups need at least 2 hours of notice from the time you send the request.

Driver requirements

You need to be 18 or older at pickup, with an Ontario G2 or G licence valid for the whole rental. Drivers under 26 pay a young driver fee for each day, shown on each car's page. We need to see the card and the licence of the person renting.

You pick how damage to the car is handled before pickup: OPCF 27, a credit card benefit, or the CarmaCars Protection Plan. Deposits differ by car. Each car's page shows its amount. Extra drivers are welcome; each one is checked and signs the agreement.

One more step

A request costs nothing, and the offer tells you everything.
