Why this way of renting

Rent by the day, the week or the month, with the same simple request each time. Whatever the reason for the rental, the steps are the same. Every booking has a signed agreement in your account. If plans change before you approve the offer, nothing is charged.

What happens when you ask for a car

Requests come first at CarmaCars. You name the car and the dates, and we take it from there. A person replies with an offer priced for your dates, not an estimate. Approve it and the car is booked; decline it and nothing happens.

Each listing shows the daily, weekly and monthly rate of that car. A booking can be a single day or up to 365 days. A request can be for today, as long as the pickup is at least 2 hours away.

What we ask of drivers

Every driver needs an Ontario G2 or G licence and must be 18 or older. Young drivers, under 26, can rent too, with a fee for each day. Your licence and the card you paid with come with you to the pickup.

You need one of three things in place for damage to the car: OPCF 27 on your own policy, a credit card that covers rentals, or the CarmaCars Protection Plan. The deposit is taken about 1 hour before pickup, never when you book. Additional drivers can be added; each one meets the same rules and signs the agreement.
