Luup Alternative for Rideshare Drivers in Coldstream, BC

Luup Alternative for Rideshare Drivers in Coldstream

This page is for Coldstream, but CarmaCars rents from Toronto. Here is the plain answer. Here is the short version: A car for Uber, Lyft or delivery work, rented from CarmaCars directly. Tell us when you book. Weekly and monthly rates first: trips of 7 days or more use the weekly rate, and one booking runs up to 365 days and renews. Luup, Uber and Lyft are named only to describe what you compared and the work; CarmaCars is not affiliated with, approved or endorsed by any of them. All prices are before tax; the offer shows the total.

What we cover

We are based in Toronto; Coldstream is not somewhere we have a location. Coldstream is about 3,074 km from our location, and our delivery area is about 250 km.

Back from Coldstream and landing at Toronto Pearson? We can meet you there with a car. A trip from Ontario to Coldstream needs our written consent before you leave. Tell us what you need in Coldstream, and a person will say straight away whether it is something we can do. All prices are in Canadian dollars.

Why this works

You deal with a small team that answers the phone and reads every request. Rent by the day, the week or the month, with the same simple request each time. Rates are set per car, so you can choose by budget. Every booking has a signed agreement in your account.

Coldstream and nearby

Lavington, Vernon and Kedleston are the neighbouring places on our list.

The nearest airport is Vernon Regional Airport (YVE), about 10 km away.

Who rents this way

Anyone between a car sale and a car purchase. People with family in town who need a second car for a while.

Before you rent

An Ontario G2 or G licence and an age of 18 or more: that is where it starts. No maximum age, and a daily fee only for drivers under 26. You show your original licence and your card when we hand you the keys.

Third-party liability is in the rate; for the car, bring OPCF 27, use your card's benefit, or add the CarmaCars Protection Plan. The deposit amount depends on the car and is shown on its page. Everyone who will drive signs the agreement after the licence check.

What happens when you ask for a car

Pick the car and the dates that suit you, then send a request. There is no payment at that point. Someone on our team confirms the car is free for those dates and sends you an offer with every charge listed. The booking is confirmed when you approve the offer and pay it.

A car's page shows the deposit and the kilometres included each day. A rental of 7 days or longer is priced at the weekly rate. Pickups need at least 2 hours of notice from the time you send the request.
