Luup Alternative for Rideshare Drivers in Java, AL

Luup Alternative for Rideshare Drivers in Java

CarmaCars is a rental company in Toronto. For Java, our help starts there. Good to know: A car for Uber, Lyft or delivery work, rented from CarmaCars directly. Tell us when you book. Weekly and monthly rates first: trips of 7 days or more use the weekly rate, and one booking runs up to 365 days and renews. Luup, Uber and Lyft are named only to describe what you compared and the work; CarmaCars is not affiliated with, approved or endorsed by any of them. You choose the car online, send a request without paying, and a person sends you the full price.

Where we are

There is no CarmaCars location in Java; everything we do starts in Toronto. At about 1,474 km from our location in Toronto, Java is past the 250 km our delivery covers.

Heading to Java by plane? A car from us can get you to Toronto Pearson, or meet you there when you return. A trip from Ontario to Java needs our written consent before you leave. Still have a question about Java? Ask in a request, and we answer plainly. Our prices are in Canadian dollars, before tax.

Why this way of renting

Every car is a real listing with its own rates, so you compare before you ask. Rent by the day, the week or the month, with the same simple request each time. Rates are set per car, so you can choose by budget. The offer is in writing, so you can check it before you agree.

Who rents this way

People whose plans changed and need a car on short notice. Anyone between a car sale and a car purchase.

Before you rent

You need an Ontario G2 or G licence, valid for the whole rental, and to be 18 or older. No maximum age, and a daily fee only for drivers under 26. We need to see the card and the licence of the person renting.

Damage to the car is handled one of three ways: OPCF 27 on your policy, a credit card's rental car benefit, or the CarmaCars Protection Plan. A deposit applies to every rental. It is shown on the car's page and taken about 1 hour before pickup. Each renter is checked the same way, before the booking is confirmed.

What to expect when you book

First you send a request with the car and the times. No card is charged for it. A person replies with an offer priced for your dates, not an estimate. The car is yours for those dates once you approve and pay the offer.

Compare cars side by side by opening their pages. Need it longer than 365 days? Renew with a new agreement when the booking ends. At least 2 hours must separate the request from the pickup.

One more step

Find a car you like and ask for your dates.
