What you get

You choose the car, we confirm it, and the offer shows every charge. Whatever the reason for the rental, the steps are the same. Rates are set per car, so you can choose by budget. There is no app to install: everything works in your browser.

Typical renters

Families who need a bigger car for a trip than the one they own. People whose car is in the shop, people visiting family, and people trying a model before they buy.

Getting the car booked

Pick your car, enter your dates and send the request. That is all you do at first, and it is free. A staff member reads the request and sends the offer. We reply within 2 hours. Approve it and the car is booked; decline it and nothing happens.

Each car's calendar shows the days it is already booked. Stay as long as you need: up to 365 days a booking, then renew. Plan for at least 2 hours between sending the request and picking up the car.

Driver basics

Ontario G2 or G licences are accepted, for drivers 18 and older. Under 26, a young driver fee applies for each day of the rental. Your original licence, not a photo, comes with you to the handover.

Three options cover damage to the car: OPCF 27 on your auto policy, a credit card with rental car benefits, or the CarmaCars Protection Plan. The deposit is never taken when you book; it comes about 1 hour before pickup. We verify licences and identity for every renter, with no exceptions.
